Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American writer, performer and actor well-known for her character Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. Her Two's Company musical was the first production she acted in for her first stage appearance. In the 1950s she performed as a stage performer in a few Broadway plays before breaking through into the spotlight with her hit song 'Lil' Abner's debut in 1957. The same year, She released Her first album of music It's time for Tina. Louise began her journey into Hollywood as Griselda Walden on God's Little Acre a drama film released 1958.The film was praised widely and Louise was awarded her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. While an undergraduate at Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. The next notable role she played was Ginger Grant, which CBS hired her with in 1964. Louise continued to have a successful professional career that combines Broadway television with Hollywood and portraying somber rather than the glamour doll image she had been portrayed as. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series as well as Helen Magnus, but in the last few years she's made a name as a producer on a variety of famous TV shows, including Supernatural. Born in Essex on August 28, 1965. The family moved to Toronto for her childhood. After being chosen for the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She has lived there since.
