Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco was born in Canada and is American. She has released more than 20 albums. The music of DiFranco is classified as folk and alternative rock but also has influences from jazz and hip-hop. Ani Difranco is considered to be a symbol for feminist music. In 1990 she was one of the first to establish her own independent record label. DiFranco was born on 23rd September, 1970, in Buffalo New York. Her parents were Elizabeth (Ross), from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as well as Dante Americo DiFranco. Her mother is from Montreal as is her father, who is Italian origins. 32 Flavors is a song composed as well as performed by Ani DiFranco.
